It has hand-selcted Indian Rosewood back and sides, a Torrified Sitka Spruce top and a Mahaogany neck. Each assembly was tap-toned during the build to try to develop the best volume and tone. The K&K Pure Mini pickup sounds great. The hand built craftsmanship and care that Mike put into this build is obvious when you first strum a chord on this magical guitar. There is so much tone coming from the guitar itself that it even sounds good with worn-out strings, a trait I’ve only experienced in one or two other guitars in my 50+ years of playing.
